This past week, I got the privilege of visiting Moscow. It was totally unexpected. I expected the American Mindset of Russia. Concrete buildings and absolutely no beauty or architechure. What I found was beautiful. Apart from the excessive heat (over 35C with no A/C) or the smoke caused by the drought and wildfires outside the city, I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Here are some pictures from the trip

Beautiful buildings but not a faith of lasting effect. The Orthodox Churches were incredible. This one is outside Moscow State University (The Harvard of the East).

This sign was just hilarious. Do we stop (that is what CTON says in Russian)? Do we Go for the green light or do we need to yield.

I tried to capture the cross through the lamp.

Cathedral of Christ our Savior. An incredible church. Too bad they don't trust Christ as our Savior.

The traditional photo op from Red Square. An incredible place. Never thought this Kansas Farm boy would end up here.
